About the Role

A U.S.-based company that is building a world-class collaboration platform for API development is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer for Trial Role. The engineer will take charge and work closely with stakeholders from engineering and our product teams to build modular, easy-to-maintain, and reliable software while keeping systems constraints in check. The company's platform simplifies the various steps of the API lifecycle and enhances cooperation, enabling users to produce better APIs more quickly. The company has secured more than $430mn in funding so far. This position requires full overlap with the IST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct unit and end-to-end testing to ensure the reliability and quality of software products.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design and build modular and maintainable software solutions.

  • Implement industry best practices in software development processes, including unit testing, object-oriented programming, design, and code reviews.

  • Take ownership of end-to-end testing for various layers, including services, middleware, and applications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems, ensuring system constraints are managed effectively.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.


Job Requirement

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an Automation Testing Engineer, conducting unit and end-to-end testing.

  • Proficient in JavaScript with at least 3 years of experience as the main skill for automation testing.

  • Strong understanding of industry best practices in software development processes.

  • Proven experience in end-to-end testing ownership in a product-based organization.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Great English communication skills, both spoken and written.

  • Ability to work with full overlap in the IST (Indian Standard Time) time zone.
